    Hi,
We have a situation where a customer buy a product which is one time fee, a subscription that we need to start in a 12 months delay, and we also need to charge a setup fee for the subscription which is one time payment.
Can that be achieved with the plugin in a way that the customer checkout once and we automate the process afterwards?

@nsyr there is a split method with delivery date, you can set an interval according to the order date. I would like you to watch the video tutorials linked under that section. We are here to help you further, in case you need more details.

    Thanks for your answer.
I have watched the videos, but I’d like to make sure I understood.
Will the delivery interval cause charging at the delivery date? Means, we’ll set the subscription order for a delivery interval to 365 days, and then the monthly subscription will start, while the other product payment terms will be activated immediately?

@nsyr it will charge for one time for a subscription. As I understood from your scenario, you have a subscription for a year with delivering items every month. You have 12 items to deliver (one item each month), so you must set 30 days interval.

Thanks, my scenario is different. We have a physical device + software service that comes with it.
When the user is buying the device, he gets one year of discounted service (one time $10), and afterward, we charge $5 a month for the software subscription (on the second year).
It means that actual delivery is being done only once, then there are 12 months of no charges, and then it should start charging a monthly fee.

Ok, let’s simplify to see if we can make it work with your plugin.
Using the billing supplier plugin, we can set up the product’s payment rules by ourselves as part of the products’ settings.
The remaining question is when they are joined in the cart, can we split them and make the second one initiated and billed one year later?

In the current feature, it splits the items according to the delivery date and does not follow any payment rules as it does not have payment related rules. When the subscription is renewed, it similarly splits the items once again with one time payment.

What possibility do you think we can have in current feature to split items according to your scenario?
