Combined won’t activate after update

    I sprung for the combined feed, and it was working ok (with a few server errors), but after the update it will not even remain active as a plugin. I keep getting the message “Warning: Feed Them Social Combined Streams has been deactivated because it needs the free version of Feed Them Social to be INSTALLED and ACTIVATED.” I did and it is, so now nothing is working. Do you have any advice? The site was supposed to migrated live today….

    Hey @sreed27, Thank you for your patience! Are you running the newest versions of the Feed Them Social version 4.0.2, and the Combined Streams extension should be version 2.0.0? If you need to re-download the Combined Streams extension, you can do so by going to https://www.slickremix.com/my-account/downloads/

    Thanks for the quick response. I updated the combined feed plugin, and then it started working (WordPress hadn’t shown a new version available, but I logged into your site and grabbed it there). I’m having some trouble now with getting my facebook feeds in, but I’ll look at that and maybe start a new thread if I continue to have problems.

    Hey @sreed27, Always happy to help! You likely need to convert your existing shortcode. Just follow the steps in this link:?https://www.slickremix.com/documentation/convert-old-shortcode/

    You can go through the steps to gain a new access token, create a new social feed shortcode and replace your old shortcode. You can do this in your WordPress dashboard by going to FT Social > Add New Feed > and choosing the social media platform you wish to display. Then you can follow the steps to configure your feed.
