  • Hi Eric,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

We haven’t checked WP 2FA. So, we don’t know how exactly it works and if there are any possibilities to filter it out.

    BTW, it’s a good suggestion!

We will take a look at it and will see if we can bypass 2FA for the temporary users.

Please do us a favor. If you like this plugin, please leave us your review.

    Thanks in advance!.

Hi Malay, thanks for your reply.

    I’ve found a simple workaround.

If I set WP 2FA to enforce 2FA on ‘All users’, I can then exclude users and roles — including temporary users that I’ve created with your plugin. So, once I exclude a particular temporary user, it’ll bypass 2FA for that user every time I need to activate that user.

Good enough for my needs. Brilliant. I think your plugin will be very helpful — I always found it rather fiddly to create a guest admin account, exclude it from 2FA, manually activate it and deactivate it. And then having to send username, password and login URL. A single URL is very handy. I just wish more developers would provide a secure method of communication to share credentials instead of email, but that’s another story!

I’ll add a review soon. Keep up the good work!
