    Hello,

First of all, thanks a lot for this awesome plugin – exactly what I’ve been looking for.

Regarding my Problem: I seem to have a problem with combining the elements post_type and category.

    This one works perfectly [ic_add_posts post_type='videos' orderby='title' order='asc']
    When I use this one though [ic_add_posts post_type='videos' category='season-1' orderby='title' order='asc'] it doesn’t seem to work anymore.

A bit of context: I am working on a small website for a TV series for my employer and I got assigned with filling the preset template (on a theme from Cherry Framework) with content. Regarding the posts there will be video posts and text posts concerning either seasons 1 or 2. For each season there is a page, all the episodes get their own post. I’d like to include all episode posts on the season page – but not the text posts.

Now, I don’t know if this has any influence on the matter, but I was adviced to not upload the videos through the “normal post Option” choosing the video post format where you can add the normal categories but through a “video post option”. There you can’t use the normal categories but you have to use an own set of categories – in the category archieves the posts open in “category_videos”.

Since I didn’t set up the website myself it’s a bit hard to backtrace what changes have been made to the default settings.

Long story short: Is the combination post_type and category supposed to work (given that you use the default category and post options)?

    Thanks a lot!

Update: I just tested the function with listing the IDs – it doesn’t work as well.
