    Hi,

I tried to create my first popup with “Popups for Divi”. The popup was intended to have three columns of text. Seeing the multiple samples, this should be possible. Or am I missing something?

I created a blank page with Divi.
Added a one column section with text only on top.
Added a second section with three columns below.
Set the “This is a popup” button.
Added a text module for each column.
Added a button to the first section to open the popup.

In Preview, the popup opens, but instead of showing the three columns of text, the text-elements are shown below each other.

If I uncheck the “This is a popup” and preview the page, the section displays the three columns correctly.

    My browser is Firefox.

Any idea where I’m going wrong?

  • Hello @tweb99,

Apologize for the inconvenience and for a delayed response!

I will be needing some more information to debug the issue. Can you please provide the following information:

    1) What is the URL of the website?
    2) Where do I need to click to trigger the popup?
    3) Can you share the screen capture of the section display?

Please do get back to me, in-case of any query.

    Regards,
    Syed

    Syed,

Thanks for getting back to me. The site is not published yet. I’ll get back to you when it is up. At least I know I’m not trying to do something that wasn’t supposed to work ??

    All,

I figured it out. I had installed Divi Builder instead of Divi Theme. When I changed the theme to Divi the popup works correctly.

    rookie mistake ??
