    Hello devs,

I’m new to the WordPress and recently I was playing with the columns block.
In page edit, I created a block of 2 columns, where every column contains just a random text like
    test1 | test2

It displays correctly on the final page, but when I refresh the page editor, the editor wraps these 2 columns so the result is like

    test1
    test2

It’s only the page editor problem as the final result on the page looks ok. It’s very annoying cause even if there’s only 1 character in a column, the page editor wraps it on reload.

Tried on 1440p screen, in firefox, opera, chrome, edge. All the same.

Do you guys have any advice where can be the problem?
I’ve got only 2 plugins enabled and I’m using the most recent WordPress version.

    • Under Construction
    • WPForms

    Thanks

  • Same here… Indeed very annoying.

Okay, in my case it seems to be a problem with the theme (Hestia). When I deleted this line: 'Hestia_Gutenberg' => HESTIA_PHP_INCLUDE . 'compatibility', from /inc/core/class-hestia-autoloader.php it worked.

    Hey Lars,

I’m using Hestia as well. And this really helped to fix it. Thanks! It was driving me nuts
