Column widths for table plugin

Hi. I’m using a table plugin (Tables by Supsystic). I use a full page width Elementor container and insert the short code for the plugin. The table plugin let’s me select column widths (either % or px). In the backend this works fine, but in the front end the column widths end up being pretty much all the same width. The plugin developer says this is because Elementor is over-riding the column width settings of the plugin. How can I avoid having Elementor over-ride the column width settings of the table plugin? Or specify within Elementor how wide to make each table column?
