This is a great plugin and exactly what I needed. I have been able to resolve pretty much everything that has come up visiting the FAQ or forums except for one thing.

I needed to adjust column widths since there were some column headings that are longer than the data in the columns and the up/down sort arrows in the column heading cells show up on top of the column heading text. The fix you gave worked exactly as described for FF and Chrome but not for IE (I’m currently using v.8). In some other forum response about IE problems you recommended people use another browser but the problem is that this is a display problem that will affect visitors to my site.

Have you found any way yet to be able to adjust column widths so that those show up in IE?

If not, would it be possible to remove the arrows and have it where a visitor could click the heading of column once to sort in ascending order and click again to resort in descending order?

    site/page in question is https://twi.searchclearwaterhomes.com/find-a-home-or-condo/foreclosure-listings-report/

    Thanks.

Never mind. I noticed after this post that the table head column headings were aligned left in FF and Chrome but aligned center in IE. I figured out what code to put in custom css to do align left for the table head and once I did that it changed the IE alignment and now the arrows are not overlapping the headings.

    Hi,

yes, sometimes the three browsers behave differently, because their default styling for tables differs.
Great that you found a way around this!

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
