    Perhaps only a few of the features from DataTables can be used directly in TablePress?

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Your assumption is correct. TablePress only uses a subset of the DataTables functions directly. For the advanced features (like custom code like from that link), you will have to manually load and initialize DataTables on your site. (You can still use TablePress to manage and create the HTML code for your table, but you will have to do the DataTables initialization yourself, according to its documentation.)
