Column Problem in Blog Section – counts negative not positive!

    I’m having a problem with the OceanWP theme relating to the blog/news post section. My created posts are not shown horizontally, but vertically. It is because the counter in the code does not count from zero to one but from zero to minus one, minus two and so on. This minus causes the columns to be vertical not horizontal and messes up the entire page that shows the latest Posts and it messes up the suggested posts when being on a solo blog entry. I have a picture to show the problem exactly but don’t know how to post it here. When I take away the minus and only leave one temporarily in the code by using the F12 function everything is alright. So I know for sure, the negative column count is the problem.
    I did not find a permanent solution to that problem and hope for your help. I’m desperate.

  • Hello,

    Try to disable all the plugin except Ocean Extra and check it works or not. If it works, then enable plugin one by one to see which plugin causing this issue. Can you share a working link so that I can check the issue?

    Thanks for your reply! I will test that immediately and inform you if it helped. Unfortunately the site with the issue is not online but on a local xampp server on my laptop. But like I said I have a picture that shows the problem.

    Okay, did you disable the plugin as I mentioned earlier? Are you using HT Mega plugin?

    Yes I’m currently using HT Mega Plugin.
    I just got to my computer and will test it now

    Okay if I deactivate everything except ocean extra it works – let’s see which plugin causes the Problem!

    Problem solved. Thank you very much!

    The problem is caused by the HT Mega Plugin. I don’t know why or how, but it reverses your column counter. Instead of 0 to 1 to 2 … it makes a different operation: 0-x while x is the number of posts. I don’t know why, if you already know the problem please tell me I’d be very interested!

    Nevertheless I thank you very much and am thanks to you now nearly ready to publish our new website.

    It is because HT Mega menu plugin uses Bootstrap file, which is causing this weird issue.
