Column gap – suggestion

    Column Gap uses padding instead of the gap property. Shouldn’t it be “gap” for flexbox?
    I can add padding separately to each element so it’s unnecessary duplication of properties. I suggest changing it to “column-gap” (and ad row-gap too). This is more logical and does not cause problems with unnecessary space on the sides.
    I know this will cause backwards compatibility issues, but maybe this can be solved somehow.

    We think there will be an issue if we change the column gap property because we define the gap as not just the space between the column but also the space on the sides. We might create a new property to handle using column-gap.
