• I am trying to add a single column with a header block. I do not want the header to be full width so the column has been set to wide width 1280px wide. The column stretches to full width in spite of my setting. I have tried all ways but quite clearly missing something. I have a page on the same site set up with the same collection of my patterns and it all works okay.

I would like to understand what is going on and why will the column not accept the 1280px width settings, it is very annoying

I attached the links to the original post assuming they will only be visible to logged in users, are you able to retrieve them from the original post

The two sites look the same, width wise, to me.

The Alford section below the reviews Open Competitions is displayed full width but the same section in the Aboyne page is restricted to 1280px

You’ve removed the URLs again. I’m done here.

I only removed them because I thought you now had them and would be safe to remove, I am really sorry. Is there any way to hide them

So Steven Stern (sterndata) Volunteer Forum Moderator !

I have chosen to take my time to respond to your “You’ve removed the URLs again. I’m done here.” response .

    1. I did not remove urls again, the first they were entered into the safe url box why they did not appear I do not know.
    2. I did remove them the last time because silly me thought you would have said url’s and it would be safe for me to remove rather than have them floating out on the wild west west

What the you moderator don’t know with an attitude like this (a guru and moderator)

    1. Have I a disabilty
    2. Have I dementia
    3. Am I frustrated that this so called easy block system is not working and coming to you is a last resort

    What I know

    1. This so called helpful forum is nothing of the kind
    2. This moderator (volunteer) is probably vetted to ensure his powers of expertise and customer relations skill are of a high standard
    3. The response from this moderator (volunteer) was poor
    4. The WordPress column block sizing function is not working for me
    5. Interesting a possible flaw with wordpress could be so easily swept under the moderator (volunteer) carpet

What I would like to know

    1. How do I fix this issue
    2. Is this issue fixable
    3. Is this problem a deep rooted problem within the wordpress stratosphere
    4. Where do I go now since the moderator (volunteer) is unable to help resolve the problem

In the meantime my site urls are out there for all to see
