Column Alignment Problem if Too Long

  • I am working on building a new site and am using column shortcodes. The columns are 1/4, 1/4 and 1/2 and all is working perfectly unless any column other than the last one is longer than the final column. In that case the next column (or text) comes in to take up the space.

    IS there some kind of indicator/code I should put at the end of each “row” (I know it’s just columns but to me they work like a row) to tell wordpress to start over again? I have tried to find a solution and haven’t come up with anything to solve this.

    As you can see, I added text between the “rows” to try to solve this, but it’s not working – just putting the next bit of text under the prior column.

    Bear in mind that while I understand a lot of wordpress, I am rather limited in my coding. I’d sure appreciate any ideas that are out there.
