Colour Coded Categories

  • Hi,

    Apologies if this has been brought up before, but I’d really like to be able to colour-code my different categories and let people look for events in just specific ones, maybe utilising a check-box system or similar. Can this be done, or is it a pro feature?

    I’m trying to keep things simple by using one calendar which serves for a multitude of different events and as our audience are often quite particular about what they’re interested in.

  • Have you looked at The Events Calendar Category Colors plugin. It’s in the plugin repository.

    Thanks Andy, that’s extremely useful. It doesn’t (as far as I can tell) let visitors select / deselect different categories, but nonetheless I think it will suffice. Thanks again.

    I’ve just found a feature in ‘The Events Calendar Category Colors plugin’ that does let users just highlight a particular category. Bravo! It just wasn’t in an obvious enough place.
