Colorway Front Page theme gone after updating to 4.1

    I think I updated the Colorway theme at the same time as updating the plug ins and updating wordpress this morning, and my front page info has gone. I think so far I have only been updating wordpress, so I don’t know if it is a plug in or the theme itself?
    I had a big static slider photo on the top with the 4 columns and photos under it. Now when I go to edit the home page it is just a normal template, NOT the colorway theme template for the front page. When I go in to theme options and put all the info and photos in the Front Page section there, nothing is happening.
    I’ve had my website up and running for about a year now and originally had some help, but been doing it myself mostly, but I’m not that great at understanding all the language.

    I’m having the same problem too, except that when I go to theme options, everything is still there. I just can’t make it show up on the front page!

    I’m afraid I was like you, I tried everything I could think of, and in the dashboard my front page seemed the same as always and when I tried to change it nothing happened.
    I had to end up asking someone else to fix it, as I got no replies from the forum. I still don’t know how he fixed it as I haven’t seen him since and he didn’t have time to explain it that day.
    I usually Just update wordpress, rather than the updating the actual theme, and I had updated the theme by accident that day. He advised me to do a child theme for the whole of my website in case it happens again, but I haven’t read up on that yet.
