Right now you must have already selected the size of a variation to also make the color of the variation change the product image. I have a variable product with each variation having a size and a color. How can I make this change the color without also selecting the price?

    Hello @kevinjmcmahonjr,

    Greetings for the day!

The behavior you’re experiencing is the default functionality of WooCommerce variations, and Variation Swatches do not have control over it. A product variation in WooCommerce is defined by the combination of all applicable attributes for that product. When only a single attribute, such as “Color,” is selected, WooCommerce cannot determine the exact variation, and therefore, it cannot display the corresponding image. To display the correct image, all attribute options need to be selected to match the specific variation.

I recommend setting default values for the attributes in the product settings. This way, when users visit the product detail page, some default values are pre-selected. Users will then only need to change specific attribute selections to see the corresponding image.

I hope this clarifies the situation.

    Best regards,
