I found a website that will tell me the code #, but this is what is in my theme editor:
body {
background: #3D4345 url(images/back.png) 0 repeat;
color: #51544B;
and no matter what i put in there the background won’t change.

..never mind I don’t think it’s possible

the color in your theme will not change because it is a PNG image, and not a color .

Yes, I figured that much out lol.
But since it’s a PNG image, how can I change the colour of it?

You upload a new image that has different colors in it.

where can i get an image? i need one that has red, white, and blue on it. i’m using the independance day theme.

Either create your own or ask the author of the theme.

just open the PNG in an image editor ancd change it’s color …
