• Hello. I am woondering if it is possabole to have the catycoies on the news colord over the image.
    Like
    News = blue
    Events = yellow
    And so on.
    I mean to have the background colord and the text would be white and it would show up like on the top right on the image. Is that possabole?

  • Hi djdanni007. Not sure I understand what you’re after. Can you post a link to your site, or is there an example somewhere you can link? Thanks.

    But not on the left on the top right.

    Are these post featured images on single posts? Or on the home page? Or are they just images embedded in the post content? I suppose, in any case, it’s not an option in the theme and may require modification of one or more theme files.

    On boath. That would be Awesome if it would be possabole.

    There may be a way to do it by modifying the the content files used for the front page and single posts to pull the post category in on top of the image. Trying to do that for images within a post would take a significant amount of code to parse the entire post content to find the images. Or there may be a way to set the image caption as the category and then display that as an overlay on the image. But I’m still not sure why you want to do this. On the home page the post listing shows the category, so not sure why you’d want the same label on the post featured image. On the single post the category is in the page title so not sure why you’d need it on the featured image there. And if you tried to do it on the post content then every image in the content would have the same label.
