    I cannot really change much in terms of the color of the header (it shows as black), and only the top commenter has a custom background, all others have dark backgrounds? Thank you!

    Otherwise, amazing idea and great widget!

    Hey konberg, thanks for the kind words and for your patience with my answer—I just turned on notifications so I will see all future responses much quicker!

    Each comment leader gets a slightly darker version of the main color the farther you go down. This decision was made to keep the widget options simple, and some colors may be too dark to use because of that.

    There’s no color option for the title area, but you can override the color by placing this custom CSS in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS:

    
.leaderboard-head { background-color: #ff0000; }
