Color Picker and WP 3.4.2

    We have a color field where the color picker does not work on just one custom typed post (out of 30).

    1. The colorpicker does not save typed in hex values. It will go in properly, and upon save, the field background will be white and the text color will be white. The text that is stored is the correct hex color. The color/value that is pulled into the front end is null.

    2. You can save and use a color properly by using the color picker to find a color, the color is not accurate though as it’s hard to pick a specific value.

    This may be an issue with just 3.4.2 and ACF v3.5.3.1. We are currently vetting WP and ACF updates, but would like to know beforehand.

    Has anyone else had trouble with the colorpicker?

    Oops – the client had an extra digit at the end of their copied and pasted ‘hex’

    Was using: #d201383
    Should have been using: #d20138

    Colorpicker works just fine – hopefully someone else can benefit from this mistake.

    One suggestion to the developers – enforce the # + 6 character format, dont allow for anything less or more please.
