color of text in the posts and menu

Firstly update your Theme to the latest version Surly your internet explorer issue solved by updating the theme.

For color of texts in the posts –

Please go to Admin Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Options >> Theme general Options.

Now, copy below code and paste into Custom CSS.

    color: #0e0d0d !important;
}

first, create a child theme using given LINK

now open main theme folder -> CSS folder and copy default.css paste in the child theme folder.

now open default.css of child theme folder. remove already exist code and copy code from below link and paste in default.css file and save
