• Hello,
    I am having a really strange issue with the logo in the header. Once I upload the logo in the first tab of the Customizer, the colors get disturbed so that the right and lower side of the logo are displayed in a different color than the background color.
    I tried to adjust the logo so it does not get resized, which didn’t have any effect. I also tried all possible formats (jpg, png, embed meta-data, etc.).
    The stranges thing is that I can actually download the logo with the browser and the color will be correctly displayed in the downloaded file.

    My thinking is that WordPress still somehow reshapes the logo and therefore the colors get disturbed? Does anyone know a workaround for this?

    Thanks in advance!

    I checked out your site and can’t see any colour disturbances, the background looks like the same green – are you just seeing this issue in the admin area on in the front-end too?

    Thanks for the answer!
    I can see it in the frontend too, on desktop and mobile.
    The difference is very slight, but since i have seen it i can’t unsee it xD

    here is a link to a small screencap that makes the contrast more visible: https://imgur.com/HdvR0D7

    Hi Administratus,

    I still don’t see it in your screenshot – have you tried viewing it in a different browser or in a private browser to check incase it’s a browser caching issue?

    I used a colour picker tool in my browser and found the colours to be:
    * Inside the logo: #6D835B
    * Beside the logo: #6D845A

    i have cleared cache, changed other details about the logo to make sure the new file is loaded, and checked with firefox, chrome, IE. For some reason, the disturbance is most visible in chrome and least visible in IE (where it is minimal but still there).

    exactly! and if you download the logo and open it in photoshop, the color will be #6D845A. so i figure it get’s disturbed through resizing.
