ok, so what change in my style pack is not showing – please state which tab and what number

This is the tab “style forum index” and the number 2. I put the color “FF8C00” but it does not change and remains f9f9f9.

it is because line 6640 of the file wp-content/themes/Gameleon/css/style.min.css has

.bbp-header {
  background: #f9f9f9 none repeat scroll 0 0 !important;
}

The !important tag prevents my plugin from overwriting it.

Depending on the loading order of the theme and plugins you could try putting

.bbp-header {
  background: #FF8C00 none repeat scroll 0 0 !important;
}

in the custom css tab area of my plugin. If my plugin loads later that would work.

Otherwise, you will need to amend that file. Easiest way is just remove that whole statement – the one above from that file. You would then need to keep a note of this change fro later versions of Gameleon.
