Colophon widget and copyright info

I installed your theme from scratch without the child theme and without any customisations to see what you have done with it. The only clickable part of the copyright text is the “Responsive Theme”. The usually clickable “footer-layouts copyright title” – in my test case this text is “responsivetest” (which is the site title) is not clickable in your new version.

The option to edit powered by WordPress has been moved to the Responsive Addons Pro plugin.
Regarding the link in copyright text, it is supposed to be like that ( clickable part is theme name )
As for the styling of colophon widgets with copyright, we will improve it in the upcoming release.

Now I know that I’ll be editing “powered by WordPress” myself rather than use yet another plugin.

As for the colophon widget, I thought you said that it would be deprecated. What is the situation? Will it be deprecated or will it stay on?

The colophon widget will get deprecated in the upcoming versions but not right in the next version so we will improve the CSS for it until it is fully deprecated.

Thank you – however, I fail to see the logic of it: there really is not much point for me to use this widget if you are going to deprecate it in the upcoming version – that would be a waste of time.

@mica123 As per my last reply, the widget will get deprecated in the future not in the next release.
Having said that, you can try using footer widgets.

As per my last reply, there is no point in using the colophon widget if you are going to deprecate it in the future – even if you are keeping it in the next release – this is what I meant.
