Collecting credit card information on $0.00 product

Hi,

First off — thanks for the plugin. It’s great.

We’re in the middle of developing an e-commerce site for a winery using WooCommerce and Stripe. The winery is offering a wine club membership which we are presenting as a free product through their store.

The membership entails committing to 3 wine shipments a year which the winery is going to be handling using their own inventory system…the WooCommerce interface is just being used to collect basic customer data (name, address, etc.).

As part of the membership commitment, we would also like to collect credit card data at checkout to be stored with Stripe so that the winery can go ahead and process member shipments at later dates TBD. Is there any way to show Stripe’s payment gateway at checkout even though the cart total is ultimately $0.00 with a membership added? We don’t want to put any charges through — just collect the card and user information so that the winery can use the Stripe backend to process charges when shipments go out.
