Hi there,
That feature is part of a paid subscription for the Click To Tweet plugin you’ve mentioned.
BUT… There definitely is a method for tracking analytics using Better Click To Tweet. It will take a bit of work, but here’s a primer:
First, sign up for an account at bit.ly or another URL shortener service (there’s one built into Jetpack, and there are self-hosted options like yourls.org that allow you to keep your own data).
If you use Jetpack, you can skip the next section:
Connect your bit.ly account or other shortener service to WordPress using a plugin. There are several in the plugin directory that do that.
Then, log into your site, and navigate the Better Click To Tweet’s settings page.
Check the box for using short URLs.
Now, by default, when you create a BCTT box, it will default to the shortlink. Then the service you use has ways to track those links.
I am also considering adding in more advanced tracking through Google Analytics as an add-on, but we don’t have a timeline for when that feature will be added.
Also note that you can manually create trackable links, and shorten them manually and add them to URL parameter on BCTT. Check out the power user guide at https://benlikes.us/7r for more details on that.
??Let me know if that resolves things, or if you need further assistance. ?Thanks for using Better Click To Tweet! Have a great day.
