collected sub topic?
-
I would like to start a sub section within my personal blog.
I would like it to always have the same name when a new entry is added.
I would like it to be accessed from either a link or a category link
and i would like the “archive” of this sub section to list the name of the section once, and each post’s contents in succession.
how can i do that?
i have seen it, and the best i can come up with is to install a second WP and strip it to death, linking it to my links section on the front page. But then my updated entries won’t show up in my regular blog.
restated more illustratively:
say i want a category called “Walking the dog”
every time i want to post into that section it will appear as an ordinary entry on my index with the title “Walking the dog.”
when you click on the title, and go to the permalink, rather than see the whole entry of that specific post, you get the whole category (like an archive) without the main title after the first entry.
would this be a matter of recreating the archive page and renaming it?
geeze, this is a common thing among MT users, and it is so alien to me. but it must be done.
anyone care to flick their bic for me? I’m stumped.
