  • The migration process disabled all the site plugins, including your fabulous collapse-o-matic. Everything works as it should. Thanks!

    yay! issue resolved.

Hello, I have the same issue with the collapse-o-matic being stuck open. I believe this is a theme issue. Baden would you take a look at my site please?

It seems to be working on our end. Is there a specific browser that it’s not working in?

Same for my theme, maybe because is dynamic it opens it automatically. Here you can see it https://www.tvpmagazine.com/articles/

It works for the same posts when they are not loaded via that dynamic page. Is there anything I can do to make it stay close even when a post is loaded dynamically?

yes, does your theme offer a callback to trigger after the dynamic contact has loaded (returned 200)?

Thanks for the reply. I do not know that. What should I look for? The author of the theme does not provide support anymore but I can fix this if I know what I should look for.

Well, it’s either something build into your theme or not.
What theme are you using? Can you share a link to your site?

What do you mean that the author does not provide support? Reviews of the theme only four days ago mention the great support. You really need to contact the author and ask if there is a callback after the dynamic content loads.

    “Author support for this item
The author of this item, artless, does not currently provide support.”

I contacted them for a while now. They provided support until a month ago. What is the piece of code I should look for?

Also, have you thought of forcing the plugin to stay closed for such dynamic themes? There are more and more such dynamic themes out there.

I’m also having a problem with the app that I didn’t used to have. I just did a major redesign of my site, including a new theme and a couple new plugins. Disabling those plugins didn’t fix the issue, so I’m guessing it’s the same problem tiotrom is trying to fix, as my new theme is also dynamic. https://kylemccarley.com/resume

Kyle: Your problem is that the collapse-o-matic script is not loading. Try changing the load location from the footer to the header in the plugin’s option page.

tiotrom: We support our free plugins as best we can. If you can not get support for your pro theme, then did it at least come with documentation? You need to have the ability to trigger a javascript function AFTER the dynamic content successfully loads. If you would like us to take a look and get this issue resolved for you, we are happy to do this as part of our collapse-pro-matic support.

The default is open, for SEO reasons.

Ok I will try to fix it if I find it how. Thank you for teh support and for the offer! Will think about it. Cheers
