Collapsing page menus collapsed by default?

Hi guys
I have posted on the forum of collapsing page plugin but no answer and I have seen some questions without answer for a year so I better try my luck here.

Despite toying around with the options I can’t have my menus in the sidebar closed/collapsed by default, which totally deflect the purpose of course. Having the categories open with such long lists is not what I want visually, it’s overwhelming.
Your help on the matter would be really appreciated!
