Collapsing page – block and title too long outside of sidebar

  • Hi guys

    I am very happy with the collapsing page pluging that I am using on my site spacessential.com, BUT there are a few points I want to fix. Despite my exploration of the different files I don’t see where I have to make the chance.
    If you go on https://www.spacessential.com and take some of the sub-menus and expand them, you’ll see the different problems:
    -some of the title are long and goes on the page of the site rather than being just in the sidebar. I’d prefer to have the title on 2 lines then
    -the block/cursor is also too long and goes outside the sidebar, sometime hiding part of the text on the page. I really want to change this
    -the list of sub-page feel a bit cramped, I would like to have more space between each title, and mroe space between the Yin/Yang pointer I’ve created and the subtitles.

  • try these new styles in style.css of your theme to harmonize the flow of chi through the expanded sup-page menu:

    #sidebar ul ul li { background-position: left 4px; } /*optional*/

#sidebar ul ul ul li {
background-position: left top;
padding-left: 20px;
padding-bottom: 5px;
margin-top:5px;
width:75%;

    You are obviously a genius in more than one category because your advice fixed everything – look so much nicer indeed. You are mastering the online Chi flow for sure ??

    Now could I be cheecky and ask you if you have any inner knowledge of the headspace plugin? As this is the last part I’ve got to improve…

    i haven’t used the headspace plugin at all (i do any neccessary seo stuff myself), but can’t be too difficult;
    i am confident, that you should get this solved as well when you post a detailed question into the plugin forum.
