• I’ve successfully used Collapse-O-Matic for several years using the Decode theme in WordPress. It works perfectly on desktop & mobiles. The website is being re-built using the WordPress Twenty Sixteen theme and the plug-in works OK on desktops but, when used on a iPhone or Apple tablet, (I’ve not tried on Android), the expanded text collapses immediately. It’s possible to keep it open by pressing the text title for a couple of seconds but this is not intuitive. It also brings up the iOS text selection view to get in the way of the expanded text. Doesn’t seem to be a browser issue as same problem using Safari & Firefox.
    Any ideas?

  • Hi,
I have the same problem. It works fine on desktop in Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Edge, IE11, but not on mobile (Iphone and Android). Did you find a solution?

    Hi,
We did find a solution but I don’t know what it was. Someone else was building the site and they changed the settings until it worked. I’ll ask them if they can remember but I’ve a feeling they weren’t sure themselves why it started to work.

Thanks! In my case it was a cash-plugin, what made the problem.

Hi, I’ve had the following reply from the person who finalised the site: “I don’t remember everything I tried in order to get it working I’m afraid. However, the one thing I do remember was I took off the “touch” option and that seemed to make a difference. I remember this particular one because I was surprised it worked on mobile with just the click options and with the touch option switched off (as I had expected you would need both for it to work on pcs and on mobile devices)”

To see it working, look at our FAQ page: https://ski-allenheads.co.uk/frequently-asked-questions/
    Good luck.
