    Hiya,
Is there a way to set the ship to different address to be collapsed by default, only appearing when the box is ticked, not the other way around?

  • Hello,

Yes! You can change the setting in WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Shipping Options > check “Default to customer billing address”

This allows you to collapsed the shipping address section by default.

    I hope this helps.

Hi @maykato I have that setting checked but the shipping address section is still expanded by default, the customer has to untick it to make the ship to a different address form disappear.

    Hello,

In that case, can you temporarily switch your theme to Storefront? If the shipping section is collapsed with Storefront, but reappears when switching back to the theme you were using, that means your theme is designed that way -> you will need to contact the theme plugin developer.

If above doesn’t solve the issue, disable all plugins (except WooCommerce) one by one to see if any of your plugins are causing the issue.

@maykato I’m really sorry, I somehow mixed up the options and had it the wrong way around – I feel really silly as I checked and doublechecked (I must have been in a post-Christmas sleep!) I followed your instructions again now and it has worked. Thank you.
