OK, try this:

Open up header-default.php under the theme folder > header > header-default.php and look for:

echo trim(str_replace(
	array("'", "\n", '/'),
	array("\'", '', '\/'),
	$wp_scripts
));

?>');
	//--></script>
</head>

right before the closing </head> tag add <?php wp_head(); ?> like so:

echo trim(str_replace(
	array("'", "\n", '/'),
	array("\'", '', '\/'),
	$wp_scripts
));

?>');
	//--></script>
<?php wp_head(); ?>
</head>
