    If a user is a member of a project, only then they will have visibility and access to that project.

    That’s weird because when I’ve been testing it, all of my users have been able to access the projects whether or not they’ve been invited. Is there some setting I’ve missed?

    There is a setting for “lowest access to projects” which may be affecting your system. I’m planning on reviewing user access to projects for 1.4, I’ll do some testing this week as well.
