Coding “upcoming posts”

Hello,
could someone help me to code what I want ?? ?

I need to show post titles (linking to these posts if possible) from one specified category. Thats it.

Now some more details about it:
I’m using future posts to create something like events. I assign these posts to one category. Now I want to make page showing “upcoming events”.
To achieve it my code would have to additionally filter posts older than today, showing only future ones and order them ascending (closest date as first) – is that possible to do?
