• Curious about what might have led to the following code showing up on my published pages at the top of each one, and how to make it disappear again!

    _gaq.push([‘_trackPageview’]); (function() { var ga = document.createElement(‘script’); ga.type = ‘text/javascript’; ga.async = true; ga.src = (‘https:’ == document.location.protocol ? ‘https://ssl’ : ‘https://www’) + ‘.google-analytics.com/ga.js’; (document.getElementsByTagName(‘head’)[0] || document.getElementsByTagName(‘body’)[0]).appendChild(ga); })();

    Thanks for any guidance!

  • Looks like part of the Google Analytics code. I can only guess that you’ve inadvertently deleted the initial line or so of the code block – which would make the code display instead of working the way it should do. I’d suggest getting a fresh copy of the Google Analytics code and replacing the faulty block in the relevant theme template file.
