Codex Improvements

I wish that someone would simply show examples in the CODEX. Some of the explanations are so cryptic, place code, run code. The more cryptic you describe something less people will use it.

For example I wanted to add a dashboard widget, I read the instructions and well placed the code in my Functions.php, nothing happened.

I dislike SW programmers they are so nerdy – lol
