• Re the .htaccess file given in “WP-Content/Uploads” section of the linked page, I haven’t tested it and I might be wrong, but there might be cases where PHP code can still be executed with that file.

    I was going to edit the page to include the .htaccess file from the files directory of Drupal but since I haven’t tested that in WP I decided to post here first.

    Unless the host is misconfigured, .htaccess should not be able to execute PHP code directly.

    It could redirect requests to PHP file (of course) but that’s not quite the same thing.
