CodeLights Interactive text word spacing issue

    Hi there, we’re having issues with the display of the Interactive Text feature. Some words lose a space. The first time through it has the bug, but the next time it goes through, it seems to disappear. Here’s a short video showing the issue:

  • Try to insert a non-breaking spaces <span style="color: #003390; font-family: Courier New; font-size: 1em; font-weight: bold; letter-spacing: 1px;">&nbsp;</span> between words, i.e. put NEW<span style="color: #003390; font-family: Courier New; font-size: 1em; font-weight: bold; letter-spacing: 1px;">&nbsp;</span>WAY instead of NEW WAY.

    Try to use a non-breaking space between words:
    Whitespace

    I’m having the same problem. My first thought was to try &nbsp; but it doesn’t work. It just shows the characters rather than creating the space. In playing with it more I have noticed that the problem only happens the first time through sequence for SOME of the missing spaces, then corrects itself the next time through. Also, I can change the wording on SOME of the lines to fix them. However, the first line is always missing all spaces the first time through. The problem is the same in Firefox and Chrome.

    Hey guys,

    Thank your for the feedback! Fixed the issue with spaces and also added an ability to enter   manually. Both will be available in the next update which is coming really soon!

    I have the same issue on https://www.beschaeftigungsfee-ines.de/. Instead of spaces I get the character ? inserted.

    Is this issue really solved? I am using version 1.1.4 of the plugin.
