I see your example shows it sorting products in WooCommerce. Will it do the same for a custom post type that uses multiple taxonomies for classifying a custom post type item? Like a movie with taxonomies for star actor, director, year, genre, etc.?

for a custom post type – yes, by date, title, and range slider items
