Hi there, that doesn’t sound like issue with the Superhero theme – are you using a plugin for that shortcode? If so, you could check the plugin documentation or ask in the plugin’s forum if that syntax is correct.

not using a plugin no that is the standard wordpress way for embedding code into posts but it doesnt work with your theme ??

Ah, that is a WordPress.com site. ?? WordPress.com has a built-in code highlighting plugin, which is what drives the shortcode.

The plugin is something you’d have to add yourself to a self-hosted site. There are a few you could try – the one on WordPress.com is based on this one:
