• The free version of Poptin has some very good features. I liked the fact that you can make a different popup for mobile devices.

The downside of the free version is the fact that the ‘powered by poptin’ image slows down the loading of your website. Some other poptin scripts also impair performance.

What I really don’t like about poptin is the fact that even after unsubscribing and removing the plugin the poptin code still stuck to my source code. For this reason, poptin was still slowing the site down.

I had to dive in to my source code via the theme editor and manually remove the poptin code.

    Hence the two stars.

    Hey Louis,

    Thank you for your feedback!
First of all, I have to say that when you deactivate or remove the plugin, our code is removed too.
Did you also install the code manually? If not, I’d be happy to test it with you on your website whenever you are available via Teamviewer.

We are happy to hear you were satisfied with the free plan and all our its features ??
So as I said, whenever you have a few free minutes, just drop us an email at [email protected] and we can schedule. We really care about our users’ satisfaction ??
