My aim is to build supportive communities, both online and offline, helping as many people as possible to live free of chronic pain, stress and disease.<span class=”Apple-converted-space”> </span>The community groups will bring together people who want to regain their natural ability to heal, along with those who want to help others to help themselves.
My main reason for developing the business is the experience I gained through my caring for my Mum until her death last year. Originally diagnosed with Angina in 1987 she spent over one third of her life on medication. Unfortunately one of the side effects of her heart medication was Type 2 diabetes which brought its own complications.
<p class=”p1″>My Mum’s final years were very difficult as her physical health declined and dementia progressed but they also served as an education for me. I hadn’t been prepared for the role reversal from cared for to carer and my Mum, a natural carer, struggled with needing cared for herself.</p>
<p class=”p1″>I believe most of her problems could have been avoided though if lifestyle changes had been the focus of her care instead of medication.</p>
<p class=”p1″>One of the things I found really helpful over the years was being able to talk to others on a similar journey and that is why I am passionate about building a community that is working together to Regain the Wisdom of Wellness with Coffee, Tea & Camaraderie. I have created a simple programme for the groups to use called Now to Wow in 90 Days. It uses a journal to give an in depth view of small but important changes that otherwise go unnoticed.</p>
<p class=”p1″>Currently I am looking for people to train to Host their own group.</p>
I have created the website and community platform myself so feeling quite pleased with myself.
