Code instead of visual editor

    Hello,

    Haven’t worked on this site in a while, when I returned to it there was code instead of the usual visual editor framework.

    Troubleshooting steps taken:
    -switched to Twenty Twelve theme
    -updated to latest WP version after updating all plugins
    -deactivated all plugins
    -cleared browser cache

    I deactivated the Coming Soon plugin to make this visible:

    I’m seeing a lot of shortcodes. These require either a theme or plugin to convert them to something useful.

    “et” indicates maybe “elegant themes”?

    Thank you for replying. The code was there before I switched themes to test a theme malfunction. But, I bet you’re right because I may have been looking at a cached version of my site at some point. I’ll delete the affected pages to test your idea.
