Code for video embed

    Hi @thomasplevy,

    Where is the code to embed course’s and lesson’s video?

    When embedding video from YouTube, there are codes for options attached to the url.
    If I put this codes on the url of video in the course/lesson setting page, it breaks the video embed.
    I wonder if this codes can be placed in the php file after the input field.

    Side note: If possible, I also want to try to put code for giving points to video playback.

    We rely on WordPress default embed capabilities for video embeds in LifterLMS — there’s no special LifterLMS code aside from the code in WordPress, we’ve only added a field for the embed which outputs the embed above the rest of the course or lesson content.

    If you’d like to create a more complicated embed with various parameters, I’d recommend using the [embed] shortcode as defined in the above link and add that to your CONTENT area rather than in the custom “Video” field on courses or lessons.

    Alternatively, you may wish to pursue one of the many video embed plugins that’s available for WordPress.

    Finally, we do not have any code or functionality that would award points for video playback in LifterLMS.
