Code Editor in Enfold is gone

  • Hey,

    I just wanted to add a verification to the code as usual (I did it several time before), but the code editor which should be located under appearance -> editor is gone, and I cannot explain why…Any help?

    I am using the latest update of wordpress (5.3.2-de) and the latest version of Enfold (4.5).

  • Hello,

    => Maybe security plugins deactivate the theme editor. If you are using these plugins switch off plugins and check if the editor returns.

    => If the problem not found in the plugins, switch ON all the plugins. Try the WordPress default theme and check.

    => Also, you can check the config file(wp-config.php) and put this code into this file: define('DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT', false);
