• I put my articles into my blog in visual, and then switch to html to put in the Amazon code for the book I reviewed. First, it’s difficult to use–after I click to leave a blank line, it leaps to the top again. Once I do paste it in, if I then edit something, the code disappears. Since I’m a tinkerer, I realized today a lot of my book ads are missing.

Is this a common WordPress issue? Thanks.

  • Don’t switch back to the Visual tab on any post where you have used the HTML tab to add markup You will lose your added markup. It’s not a bug – it’s the way that the Visual Editor is supposed to work.

No, I can atest to the fact this is not the problem.

I have gone as far as disabling the WYSIG option for myself and any code I post on a added page simply disappears when you update the page. THere is no visual tab on the editor as I disabled this option and it is still doing so.

I am posting as Admin, and I chaecked I have all roles and capabilities enabled. It simply doesn’t work.

    Any other ideas anyone?
