The codes blocks do not load anymore when I click on the CSS & JavaScript Toolbox plugin link on my website now. I had approximately 52 blocks in there, I also have many pages on my WordPress site. I need to know if the plugin can handle such volume of information or not. If it can’t, how can I remove some safely, and then edit the code, then add them back in?

The javascript and html still load on the pages I’ve linked them too, so they’re still there and the plug still works. I just can’t retrieve them and edit them anymore.

    Hello Mr,

Thank you for contacting us! We’re very sorry for the issue you’re facing.

The issue you’re facing is a well-know issue and we’re already working on fixing it. To temporary get around over this issue you’ll need database tweaks and it’ll be a little risky to do something like this and it might lose your data!

If you’re able to just wait for this issue, we’ll have a new release with fix soon, really soon.

    Thanks and best regards,
    Ahmed

My website is set to be published by the end of the week, what tweeks in the database do I need to disable a code block being loaded into the page?

I would just uncheck the page in the code block, but I can’t.

    Hello,

DO THIS ONLY ON YOUR OWEN RISK. THE FOLLOWING SOLUTION IS NOT TESTED AND THE RESULT CANNOT BE DETERMINED.

    1. Using any Database client go to the “WP-PREFIX_cjtoolbox_blocks” table.
    2. Select all the blocks you don’t need to edit and export/save it into your local PC.
    3. Delete those blocks you selected in step #2.
    4. Go to “CSS & Javascript Toolbox” dashboard page.
    5. Edit the block(s) you want.
    6. Go back to the database client. Import the deleted records back again.

    Regards,
    Ahmed

I’m experiencing the same issues, and my client asked explicitly to find a solution very soon.

Is there an update coming in the next days?

    Thank you very much,
    Vincenzo

    Hi Vincenzo,

    Thanks for your support question.
As mentioned in my email, we have finished the performance update for CJT Free. We are currently in the testing phase and hope to launch this within days.

If you or anyone is urgent for the fix on the performance, please send an email to:
[email protected] and we can direct you to install the BETA Development version.

We can so far say that the initial tests are proving successful with 3,500 posts/pages with over 20 code blocks. We have a number of other ideas that we want to explore and develop down the track that should improve performance even further.

Thanks very much for your patience in this matter. We will keep you posted. ??

    Kind Regards,
    Damian

    Hello,

The issue has been fixed on version 6.1 that we just releases.

Please let us know if you still have any issues.

    Kind regards,

    Hello Damian.

The plugin is working great right now, but I would like to suggest you to add a simple pagination. I have nearly 100 code snippets, and if I click on the “Maximise all code blocks” button, it takes forever to load and the browser window crashes.

Plus, it would be nice to have a setting that allows to choose the default editing language for the syntax highligh. For example, almost all of my snippets are HTML and the default proposed language is CSS.

    Thank you very much,
    VIncenzo
