Hi,

After the updating to the latest 3.4 woocommerce version. The COD payment option is having some issue. It says the follwoing

” Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/ekko6615/public_html/copy/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/gateways/cod/class-wc-gateway-cod.php on line 242″

The screenshot is given in the link.

When i downgrade it to the older version it’s working fine.

Could someone please help me out to update the woocommerce version and run it without the above issue.

I’ve solved the problem until new updates using woocommerce 3.3.5 code from class-wc-gateway-cod.php

Hi @rizly and @paraschivalin,

This is likely caused by a plugin or the active theme applying a template override to WooCommerce. You can check for these at the bottom of the WooCommerce > Status page.

Try switching back to a default theme like Twenty Seventeen or Storefront and disabling all plugins except for WooCommerce to see if this resolves the issue.

Looking at the exact line in the code that the error is referencing, it seems this might be influenced by shipping methods (more information at https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/blob/master/includes/gateways/cod/class-wc-gateway-cod.php#L242)

With this in mind, could you do the following:
- Send a copy of the system status report (Found under WooCommerce > System Status)
- Send a screenshot of how you have you shipping method(s) configured

After I took ss I reverted website to functional mode using woocommerce 3.3.5 code from class-wc-gateway-cod.php

I notice if I remove all shipping methods from COD everything is fine.

Hi @dimath99 and @rizly,

Depending on how confident you are in code changes, have you taken a look at this Pull Request? https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/pull/20237/files

You might try making these changes on your sites (preferably on a staging or test site) to see if that fixes the issue.

If not, it looks like this should be out with 3.4.1.
