    Hi,
The new CNIL rules implies that the users should be able to accept / reject all the cookies at any time AND, at the same time, be able to choose which cookie categories they want to activate or not.
I can’t find such an option in the cookie banner > agreement section of the plugin configuration.
Has an update been planned for this ?
    Thanks.

    Hi @antho-artnum,

The categories are available on the cookie policy, available at any time. The manage consent button is available on all pages to revoke consent and show the consent banner.

On most cookie banner templates, there’s a dismiss, or functional cookies only button as well as an accept all button, and at the same time the categories to give granular consent.

Let me know if I’m missing something important, and if possible please refer us to the specific guideline, if you think we missed something.

    regards Aert

    Hi Aert,
Thanks for your quick feedback. Maybe I don’t read the CNIL’s recommandation correctly (https://www.cnil.fr/sites/default/files/atoms/files/recommandation-cookies-et-autres-traceurs.pdf) but if you look at article 30, it says “The data controller must offer users both the possibility of accepting and refusing read and/or write operations with the same degree of simplicity.” And if you look at the wireframe right above, there are 3 buttons “Customize my choices”, “Reject all” and “Accept all”.
This may be a missing template in Complianz don’t you think ?
Thanks in advance for your feedback.

    Hi @antho-artnum,

We have a template, available via the tab opt-in called:

Accept All + View Preferences. It’s the same template we’re using on complianz.io.

    Hi Aert,
OK I see, on your website there is a “Dimiss” button indeed, which stands for “Reject all” I assume. On my test site, this button is named “Functional only”, does it mean that the user’s consent is not mandatory for functional cookies ?

    Hi @antho-artnum,

Indeed, you can rename it to reject all, or dismiss, but the functionality stays the same. The website is loaded with functional cookies only (for example Complianz cookies to set consent).

Reject all/Dismiss/Functional only will keep the status quo, no further cookies will be set.

    Hope this helps!

    regards Aert
